This project is about restoring this1948 Chev Truck or Pickup, as they call it in the USA, with a few things added, to make it a little more unique, interesting and fun. So if you are interested in following along and finding out what John has in mind for the project, join us. 

Due to selling my Torana SS Hatchback I want to do another project so the Chev Mad 48 truck was born.

Through a couple of mates I ended up with two trucks one was complete and the other was a cab and fenders missing a bonnet and rh door. the other one was a complete truck.

So it was off  Kalgoorlie to pick up the truck when I got there I really only wanted the cab and complete front body work. spent half a day to remove the cab and other bits then we loaded it to to a trailer and back to Perth the next day.
